Porta Potty Rental for Construction and Home Improvement

A clean, reliable porta potty is one of the smallest line items on a construction budget and one of the easiest things to get wrong. Units that don’t get serviced. Drivers who can’t find the site. Not enough restrooms for the crew. We’ve been renting porta potties to Portland contractors and homeowners since 1996, and we’ve built our service around making this part of the job boring — which, on a jobsite, is usually a compliment.

Built for Jobsites of Every Size

Whether you’re framing a single-family home in the suburbs, remodeling a kitchen, or running a multi-year commercial build in downtown Portland, we have a rental package sized to fit. We deliver to active jobsites across NW Oregon and SW Washington, coordinate with site supers on placement, and service units on a weekly schedule — or more often for high-traffic projects.

OSHA Compliance, Handled

OSHA regulation 1926.51 requires construction employers to provide toilet facilities at jobsites based on crew size — roughly one toilet for every 20 workers, with additional units required as the crew grows. We know the rules, we know the math, and we’ll help you calculate the right number of units for your crew so you stay compliant without over-renting. Many public projects also require at least one ADA-accessible unit; we can include that in your package.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many porta potties do I need on a construction site?

OSHA 1926.51 recommends one toilet per 20 workers for crews up to that size, with additional toilets required as the crew grows. For crews of 20–199, plan on one toilet and one urinal per 40 workers. Call us with your crew size and we’ll confirm.

How often do you service construction porta potties?

Standard service on construction sites is once per week — pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking. For high-traffic sites or hot summer weeks, we can schedule two or three service visits per week.

Do I need an ADA-accessible porta potty on my jobsite?

For most public-sector construction projects, yes — federal and state rules generally require at least one accessible unit. Private projects have more flexibility, but we recommend including one whenever your crew or site visitors might need it.

How long can I rent a porta potty for a construction project?

As long as you need it. Our standard billing cycle is 28 days, and we have customers who’ve rented units for years on long-running projects. We’ll just keep servicing and billing until you tell us to pick up.

Can you deliver to a locked or gated jobsite?

Yes. Give us the gate code, lockbox code, or a contact name when you book, and we’ll coordinate delivery and service access with your site super.

What happens if a porta potty gets tipped over or damaged?

Call us. We service thousands of units a year and we’ve seen most things that can happen to a porta potty. We’ll assess the situation and, if needed, swap the unit out quickly.
